In 2013, Mowanjum Art Centre launched the large scale photographic installation, My Face, Our Place. It was inspired by the Inside Out peoples art project, a global platform for people to share their stories and transform messages of personal identity into public works of art.
Sponsored by DADAA (Arts for Social Change) in collaboration with Marsh Art Festival, over 200 black and white photographic portraits of Derby residents were recorded, printed and mounted onto a shipping container gallery in the Derby Marsh. My Face, Our Place now features on the Official Inside Out Project Website.
