Micro Macro Country - Mowanjum artists explore digital photography, screen-printing and digital printing during a four week creative development program. The Micro Macro Country theme is identity through country looking close up and far away at the things that surround us and hold meaning. The project designed by Dolord Mindi to inspire the collaboration of digital media and hand made methods of making. Mowanjum Collection has also been accessed with some artists photographing natural and cultural materials, while others referenced historic photographs layering photos and drawings together into screen print designs. Three creative specialists were invited to join our creative journey, Camera Story, (Jacqueline Warrick and Sarah Landro), Sean Smith from The Ownership Project, and Peter Hatzipavlis from The Print Shop Photography Studies College (Melbourne).
